GDPR Rights

Last updated: April 2026

This page explains your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) as they apply to your use of Zovfar.

What personal data we hold

Zovfar is designed to require as little personal data as possible. In most cases, we hold none at all — you can use our planning tools without creating an account or providing any identifying information.

The only circumstances in which we may hold personal data about you are:

Legal basis for processing

Where we hold your email address, we do so on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK/EU GDPR), which you gave when you signed up or requested an email. Where we retain conversation data, we do so on the basis of our legitimate interests in improving the service (Article 6(1)(f)), subject to the safeguard that the data is anonymised.

Your rights

Right of access

You have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.

Right to rectification

If any personal data we hold is inaccurate, you have the right to ask us to correct it.

Right to erasure

You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data. If you signed up for notifications or had recommendations emailed to you, we will delete your email address promptly on request.

Right to restrict processing

You have the right to ask us to stop processing your personal data in certain circumstances, for example while a dispute about accuracy is resolved.

Right to object

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object. We will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

Right to data portability

Where we process your data by automated means on the basis of your consent, you have the right to receive it in a structured, machine-readable format.

How to exercise your rights

Email us at zovfaradmin@gmail.com. We will respond within one month. We do not charge for handling rights requests.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority:

Transfers outside the UK/EEA

Our service infrastructure is hosted with providers that may operate servers outside the UK or EEA. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.

We may update this notice as our processing activities change. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
